The Consciousness Energy and Substance of the Glorious Body
Embodying the Tree of Life and the Zodiac thru Activation of the Merkavah
The conventional view of ourselves is of a separate physical body containing a separate Life – Energy – and a separate Mind – Consciousness.
The word energy may be associated with our senses, feelings, emotions, life force and all manner of movement.
The term consciousness implies our thinking, our reason, our conscious control as well as spontaneous responses. It is also our self observing, self and world knowing, decision making intelligence: understanding, will and action.
Since as separate physical beings we cannot distinctly see our energy nor our consciousness, we assume that they operate invisibly inside our separate bodies or by extension through other man made technical machines and instruments such as a car or computer.
Esoteric spiritual teachings such as Kabbala, Tantra, Integral Yoga, Ayurveda, Astrology and Shamanic practice, help us to understand and embody a clear and precise framework of ourselves as individual units, filled with distinct inner organization of substance, energy and consciousness.
Moreover these teachings take us further in understanding ourselves as entities contained within a larger complex field of energy within an even larger field of multi layered, infinitely extended consciousness.
In other words my body sits inside my mind-soul-life and spirit fields and is a condensation a crystallization of them and thus an instrument of them.
In the ancient esoteric knowledge of astrology we find an amazingly precise, practical and powerful system of self knowledge and self mastery.
We are an ever changing yet constant unity of consciousness, energy and substance.
This unity, also called The Merkava or the Chariot of Intent, is made of six or twelve primary functions and faculties of Self.
The first is free and unified Being.
The second is speaking and measuring Intelligence or Light.
The third… self-directing and self- valuing Love.
The fourth concentrating and stimulating Power.
The fifth… impelling and building Action.
The sixth… providing and stabilizing Matter.
The practice of Merkava Activation is technically a study and exercise of the Five Elements : Ether (infinite silent space), Air (movement), Fire (force), Water (flow), Earth (form).
The five elements, according to the esoteric view, weave and create our bodies, our energy fields and our consciousness and also all that is in this world and in the cosmic vast.
The Activation of the Merkava, our “luminous chariot of intent”, brings us into full awareness of ourselves as the “Tree of Life” and as the twelvefold Zodiac Wheel of Astrology.
In this workshop, we will journey and study together with our bodies, feelings and mind.
We will Explore, Become and Be, individually, with partners and as a group while using our inner observation and outer expression, music, movement, meditation, discussion, touch, breath, voice, dance, stillness and deepest rest, the following:
Straight Above
We are an airy-watery, SPHERE of Free (—Aquarius) and Unified (—Pisces) BEING.
On the Right Above in Front
We are an airy-earthy SUN of Speaking (—Gemini) and Measuring (—Virgo) LIGHT.
On the Left Above Behind
We are an airy-fiery VORTEX of Directing (—Sagittarius) and Valuing (—Libra) LOVE.
On the Left Below Behind
We are fiery-watery undulating LOTUS of Concentrating (—Leo) and Stimulating (—Scorpio) POWER.
On the Right Below in Front
We are fiery-earthy PYRAMID of Structuring (—Capricorn) and Impelling (—Aries) ACTION.
Directly Below
We are an earthy-watery JEWEL of providing (—Cancer) and stabilizing (—Taurus) MATTER.
We are these six or twelve ways of being, distinctly different and interdependently and inter-penetratingly together.
